My thoughts and overall take-a-way from this Bible Study of 2 Thessalonians 2 is that Paul is wanting to write to them once again to clear up any/all confusion they may have ( or been given by someone ) concerning the distinct differences between what we know as "The RAPTURE" vs "The second coming of Christ".

Ironically, this 2nd letter that God has Paul writing is still relevant by the same intention Paul wrote it to the church @ Thessalonica as it is today. While most all scripture is relevant many Christians today still find or confuse the two events studied in this letter without realizing the differences.

Some even fear or have been taught in error, that one or both of them have already occurred. Much like the Thessalonians obviously did.

It has been extremely valuable for me to study both: 1st and 2nd Thessalonians to best clarify not only what the Lord is promising those of us that believe in the Rapture but to be able to better explain it to others.

These 2 letters of Paul to the Church at Thessalonica are still applicable to the Church today as they give a clear picture of the prophetic promises of the two distinct events Jesus has secured in his word for the Body of Christ. The Church.
