1. Give an Outline of the Above Scriptural Passages For this Lesson. Paul presents basic behavioral warnings that could obstruct/hinder the spreading of the Gospel.
2. What would hinder the word to “run swiftly” and be “glorified” (then and now). Both Social and Religious Oppositions coming from the Jews ( then ) and various religions today as well as ignorant or uninformed believers ( of any age or generation ).> not Living according to GOd's precepts.
3. What was the main causes of the idleness and disorderly conduct in the church? (then and now) Some believers seem to stop at salvation or believe it to be enough (remaining in or not repenting from the state they were in when saved ) which limits or distorts the witness of Christ's effect they can have on on believers. > Not growing in Christ through study of His word and/or being a faithful member of a community church home and turning away from a sinful lifestyle.
4. Do we grow weary of doing good? We can if we are seeking tangible or physical results, or worse, self-recognition. Then, the desire to do good works falls subject to being based on those fleshly results. But to work tirelessly as unto the Lord Himself only, for and towards all peoples, allows God to use us and our Good Works spiritually to present His will to those around us whom we may or may not know is making a difference.
