BIBLE STUDY HELPS

1. When Studying the Bible, ask the following questions to yourself in order to reach the intended purposes of the scripture passage being studied.


  1. A. Who?

  2. B. What?

  3. C. Where?

  4. D. When?

  5. E. How?

  6. F. Why?

2. Consider the context of the passage being studied.
“Context” - - What the text contains. > The Subject of the passage.

3. Define any/all unknown words via: Dictionary, Bible Dictionary and/or Concordance.

4. Determine to whom the pronouns refer.

5. Note the tense of the verbs and if the words are singular or plural.

6. Note when/if there is a change of subject in the passage.

IN LIGHT OF THE PASSAGE HOW CAN I APPLY THE TRUTH TO MY LIFE?
